This is an easy "Hochtour" - the rocky part of the route is secured with ropes and there is no contact to glacier.
The acsent starts from the parking lot of Ferleiten, it is cost-free. Up to the Schwarzenberghütte (so far the acsent takes about 3 hours) and for ca an hour after that the route goes though and up the wonderful valey. After this point the terrain is only rock, not slippery but quite draw/fraible. Still, there is steel rope on most of the way which also helps a lot with the orientation. Securing with a via-ferrata set is recommended but can also be skipped - only the last parts of the route are more exposed. They are too "fragile", so there is no rope there!
The decsent is the same as the acsent.
Altogether over 2000 meters gain/loss, so it is wise to split it on 2 days with overnight at Schwarzenberghaus.
