Beginner friendly hike with public transport option (train) to the Lenggries Train Station. From there, it is a 20 min walk to the meeting point at Wanderparkplatz Hohenburg in Hohenburgstrasse.  Ascent via Grasleitensteig until we reach the plateau of Seekaralm, not far from Lenggrieser Hütte. This hut  (formerly Seekarhütte) is open almost all year with great food and a nice terrace setting. From there, its another 45 min to the remote Seekarkreuz summit, featuring a nice view.

After reaching the summit, the tour takes us back to the hut, descendinf through Hirschbachtal back to the meeting point. 

Depending on the snow situation, this tour can be done in winter (wintergear necessary) with relatively low avalanche risk.
