The "season begin" and "season end" refer to the first part until the obere Firstalm.
Rest depends on the snow situation. In any case the ridge to reach the main peak requires surefootedness. It is partially secured with ropes.
The benefit of this variant of the tour is that the whole group can go until the alm and whoever wants to continue to the peak, can do so and return back to the alm.
