Route Information
Hintere Goinger Halt (2,192 m) offers beautiful summit panorama with views of Wilder Kaiser, Karwendel, Hoher Tauern. This hike can be done in winter as well but the last part is very steep and depending on conditions, you might need crampons.
Ascent: The hike starts at Wochenbrunner Alm parking lot (4 EUR toll road). From the parking lot follow the forest road towards Gaudeamushütte. After the hut continue towards Ellmauer Tor over so called Kübelkar. After arriving at Ellmauer Tor, follow the signs to Hintere Goinger Halt. The last part is quite steep, in winter you need to pay special attention.
