Cima Marmotta / Köllkuppe (3,330 m) is a popular destination even in winter with snowshoes or as skitour. The summit offers beautiful views of Ortler, Königsspitze and Cevedale and in South Brenta group.

Ascent: From the parking lot follow the wide road towards Zufallhütte / Rifugio Nino Corsi. After the hut continue towards the flat valley of Plimabach. Then continue on steep slope direction South into the wide valley basin SouthWest of Marteller Hütte. From there turn left on the steep slope towards Hohenferner. After a long traverse on the glacier you arrive on the North face of the summit. For the last part you might have to remove your ski and use crampons. Note that the winter path differs slightly from the summer path.
