Just 30 minutes after leaving the hut the trail brings us to Mindelheimer Klettersteig, which is grade B/C. Keep in mind that it's convenient to be here early on because this ferrata is quite frequented and can be climbed in both directions, i.e. you might need to wait a lot. However it's not super difficult and after a short descent we can stop by at Mindelheimer hut for a decent Kaiserschmarrn. The next opportunity that this day offers is to visit Germany's southernmost point which is close to a hill called Haldenwanger Eck. From there we continue to the East along the German - Austrian border. Motivated people can decide to descend towards Lechleiten from Salzbüheljoch and climb Biberkopf from there (the rest might to do it the next day). The other alternative is to continue towards Rappenseehütte and the nearby lake, which offers itself to a relaxing bath at the end of the day.
