The hike starts at Krün.
First part of the hike is demanding uphill with views to the valley first, and at some point openings to the goal of the hike: Schöttelkarspitze. The views are spectacular.
At Seinskopf the views change to the south, Schöttelkarspitze is at sight, but also Mittenwald and its surroundings. From there one can continue on the ridge (a bit more exposed), or just on the green south side, less exposed (simply a few meters below the ridge). The ridge brings to a pass with the signs indicating that one could turn to Soiernspitze to the right, or enter the path between vertical rocks with direct views to the peak and the final approach to it.
From the peak one can see Soirnesee on on side, Walchensee on the other, and Karwendelgebirge. From there one could have multiple options, in this case the track brings to Mittenwald. If it is late in the afternoon, the sunset can be magnificent.
