The Kreuzspitze (2185m) is the highest peak in the Bavarian Ammergau Alps. You have to earn it, the trail is quite short but steep and stony, especially in the upper part. There are also some small climbing sections where there is no absolute danger of falling, but you should be sure-footed, free from vertigo and able to use your hands. At the top, you are rewarded with a great view: the Zugspitze and Eibsee are right opposite and the entire Ammergau Alps offer a great panorama that makes you forget the noise of the motorbike, which echoes almost all the way to the top.
