Jungfrau (4,148 m) is one of the most famous mountains in Switzerland. The normal route to the summit is not very difficult but some parts are tricky and require climbing on steep (40-50 degree) and exposed ice and snow, where most of the accidents happen. It's recommended to sleep in Mönchsjochhütte.
Ascent: From the hut, follow the prepared path to Jungfraujoch. From there get down on the glacier in South and bypass the cliff on the right. There might be some steep rocks that might be icy before you arrive at the flat part. Now continue towards the Rottalsattle that requires a steep climb on bergschrund. The traverse to the bergschrund is prune to avalanches and can be very difficult depending on conditions. From the saddle you have to climb the last summit ridge (up to 50 degree) which might be icy/snow. There are fixed anchors on the rock on the left side.
Descent: Same as ascent.

Note: Bring long enough rope with you (60m) to be able to attach to anchors safely.
