2-Day trip onto the highest peak of Germany - Zugspitze  (2962m)

1st day: 2 hour hike from Hammersbach through Höllental Gorge (bring rainjacket or poncho) with overnight stay at Höllentalangerhütte (great food and nice terrace). 

2nd day: heading towards Zugspitze at 7:00, we will climb through a via ferrata (C), cross the glacier and take a lunch break at Randkluft. From there, we continue through the 2nd long via ferrata (B/C) to make it to Zugspitze. After taking a break and tons of photos at the summit, we will take the cable car down to Eibsee and the bus back to the parking lot in Hammersbach around 17:00.

This is a combined summer mountain tour and features all aspects of mountaineering: Hiking, Climbing, Via Ferrata and Glacier Crossing on a rope. Besides surefootedness, you need to have via ferrata experience (B/C) and manage to hike 1800 hm in one day. The individual segments of the tour are not too difficult, but the duration of the 2nd day and lack of water can wear you out.  

In order to maintain safety for the group, only qualified hikers will be accepted.
