This route is inspired by Seven Summits Tour Schröcken that covers seven summits:

  • Höferspitze (2,131m)
  • Juppenspitze (2.412m)
  • Mohnenfluh (2.542m)
  • Braunarlspitze (2,649m)
  • Hochberg (2,324m)
  • Rothorn (2,239m)
  • Hochkünzelspitze (2,397m)

The planned route does all the above peaks in reverse direction. There is a trail running event year in September. You can find more information here: https://www.warth-schroecken.at/de/sommer/seven-summits-tour-schroecken.html

Most of the tour is technically easy except some T4 sections. There might still be a lot of snow on Braunarlspitze and you might have to traverse big snowfields. Therefore, I would recommend to check snow conditions and take crampons if necessary. The highlight of the tour is Butzensee which was frozen.
