The Halserspitze (1862m) is a super panoramic peak in the Bavarian Pre-Alps near Lake Tegernsee in the so-called Blauberge. But the way there is long and strenuous. First you have to master the Wolfsschlucht gorge with some steep sections and steel rope passages, and then get to the summit via the long - but easy - summit gradient (with various intermediate summits). For the steep descent, you need to be sure-footed and free from vertigo, otherwise it is better to descend on the ascent (but it takes a long time!). For experienced hikers who are fit enough for this, however, this is a sensational tour with insanely great views of the Tegernsee suspects (Roßstein & Buchstein, Hirschberg, Schinder etc.), the Guffert, Tegernsee, Achensee and far beyond! All in all, a real classic with refreshments in Siebenhütten and the Blaubbergalm.
