From Ebbs Kaisertal parking lot we follow the signs to Kaisertal. At the beginning you have to overcome 250 steps, which facilitate the ascent via the Sparchner Klamm. Then it goes on uphill to a beautiful vantage point on Kufstein and the whole Inn Valley. Once you have overcome the first steep step on the stairs, you will have a wonderful hike through one of the most beautiful Tyrolean valleys.
Further on the path 801 you come to a fork in the road, where you keep right. Soon you reach the Pfandlhof and the Berghof Enzian. At the next fork keep left and reach the Antoniuskapelle and the Hinterkaiserhof.
Here you keep right, following the 801er, until you reach the road again. Follow this road further into the valley, keep left at the fork and soon reach Anton-Karg-Haus at 829 m. Here we make a first pause enjoying great views of Wilder Kaiser
he Bettlersteig leads from the Kaindlhütte to Hinterbärenbad on the north side of the Wilder Kaiser, from the foot of the Scheffauer under the chopping heads to below the sun set. The terrain is very varied, the trail crosses two major gorges and several streams, alternating between steep passages and straight stretches, with comfortable trebles, a few iron bars and a small ladder, very little rock and stone, mostly through mixed forest and fern. in about 2.5 to 3 hours to Kaindlhütte crossing an idyllic high plateau through gentle alpine pastures. Here we make a second pause. Then we start our way down taking the the trail till Walleralm till we can see our final beautiful destination: Hintersteinersee.
An enchanting mountain lake, located 883 m above sea level above Scheffau amidst the natural reserve Wilder Kaiser. A hike around the Hintersteiner See is very revealing. On the southern bank, the route rises a little and offers breathtaking views of the turquoise blue water of the crystal-clear mountain lake. A bathing beach is also located here and have a swim is definitely recommended ;)
