The hike leads through lush alpine meadows, past the Lüsgersee and via the Tyndall monument and Hohbiel up to the Sparrhorn. The ascent does not present any major difficulties and is also suitable for sure-footed children. It's worth enjoying the view of the fantastic mountain world of the Valais Alps again and again along the way. From the summit of the Sparrhorn at 3021 m above sea level. M. then opens up a panoramic view: the peaks of the Fusshörner are close enough to touch, further down you can see the Oberaletsch Glacier, and in the distance you can see the striking four-thousanders Matterhorn, Weisshorn, Dom and Monte Rosa.
