Notkarspitze is a very popular mountain in the Ammergau Alps. On sunny days the summit gets crouded all the year. The popularity of this Notkarspitze must have a reason: breath taking views into every direction! Additionally the hike doesn' t need too much time and is easy walking during summer.
This version Notkarspitze featuring Ochsenspitz, Zieglkopf, Brünstelkopf is a very varied route and made for public transport only.

No huts on the way but options near the station in Farchant where you can wait for the train while enjoying food and drinks.
During the winter months the upper slopes of Notkarspitze may be dangerous, because of avalanches. Please check the avalanche report here before planning.
