Dufourspitze (4,634 m) and Nordend (4,609 m) are the second and the third highest mountains of the Alps. Dufourspitze is also the highest mountain of Switzerland.

Ascent to Nordend: From the saddle follow the ridge to Nordend, be careful with cornices. In the snowy part of the ridge, you always stay on the Swiss side. On the last part of rocky summit ridge, you have some ropes on the exposed sections.
