Route Information
The Pfannenstiel Weg is a lovely forest trail in the hills southeast of Zürich. The first half of the trail is a wide dirt path through the forest, obstacle-free, suitable for strollers. At the half-way point, you visit a 35m tall tower, which you can climb for free and get fantastic panorama views of Zürich lake, surrounding countryside and mountains in the distance. Near the tower, there is a restaurant, playground and picnic areas with grills.
