Let´s go to Toter Mann, one of the most beautiful panoramic mountains in the Berchtesgaden Alps in Bavaria and often also called the "sun terrace of Ramsau". This tour is particularly worthwhile: not only because of the incredible view, but also because there are many places to stop for refreshments, that is never bad, especially in winter time. On the large terrace of the Hirschkaser there is a breathtaking view of the Wimbachgries, the Hochkalter and the Watzmann massif.
In addition to the summit highlight at 1,391 m, the way back via Soleleitungsweg, the "Balcony of God", is a special feature of this round. Originally, the Soleleitungsweg was used to transport salty water.
It's a well-prepared, relatively wide hiking trail downhill in serpentines over steps. At a crossroads, continue straight ahead to the Söldenköpfl, offering wonderful views. We finally descend back to Bischofwiesen station to complete our round tour.
