-------

User provided description:

The peak is considered one of the easiest 4000er in Alps but still it requires glacier experience and how to cope with high altitude.

Ascent: The route starts at the cable car station Punta Indren which can be reached either from Staffal or Algna Valsesia. The route is usually well marked till the Rifugio Mantova hut. In summer path, you have to scramble on rocks where you can also find some ropes. From the hut you enter the glacier and full glacier equipment are necessary after this point. From there follow the marked path (with poles usually) to Vincent Pyramid. In good conditions, you can go all the way to the summit with ski.

Descent: Same as ascent.

Weather: Summit, Valley
