Route Information
A long and high, south to north running ridge is bordering Achensee lake to the east; the northern end of it is called Vorderunnütz. The traverse is one of the nicest tours in the Rofan around Achenkirch.
The route is less crowded and offers breathtaking views to the Achensee but the view must be earned, the ascent is steep and without any flat sections and includes some easy scrambling (not exposed all the time). Since the trail is not well marked, its recommended to bring a map.
