Route Information
Technically easy, but quite a long hike. Hiking boots and a bit of alpine experience recommended. One of the variants going up the Rotwand.
The hike starts at 'Alter Wurzhütte' in Spitzingsee - reachable by Train (to Fischhausen-Neuhaus) + Bus, it finishes in Geitau, with a comfortable connection to Munich Main station (every hour)
The trip can also be completed in the opposite direction, note you will need to catch the last bus in that case
