Route Information
A circuit of Drachenkopf, from Ehrwald to Lermoos. This route is a T4, with the T6 being a mismatched segment from OpenStreetMap. The inaugural route was on 14 July 2019. This route is good in case of uncertain snow conditions, as it will still be a good day if it is not possible to cross the pass above Biberwier. For the route up from Ehrwald, the Hoher Gang is a good way of checking the group’s abilities before the scrambling up on Drachenkopf, and it saves some long road walking.
In other cases, I’d recommend trying the route in reverse, so there is a hut and a lake to cool down in after the ascent.
