Guffert is a 2.195m high mountain in the "Rofangebirge" in Austria and looks like a rocky pyramid. The beautiful mountain is called "The Matterhorn above the Achensee". The round trip-route (ascent from the South / Steinberg descent via Luxeck) is a classic T3 hiking-route with some scrambling and takes 6-7h up and down.

The route is well signed out, because of the south exposition and the "Latschen" it`s very hot in summer.

Near the peak be careful, stones are polished - some sections safed with steel ropes.

For a more challenging route to the peak you should consider Guffert Westgrat.
