User provided description:
This hike is a mountain tour to the scenic Schneibstein, which stands at an elevation of 2,276 meters. It has a moderate difficulty level. The trail begins at the Schneibsteinhaus and leads to the Carl-von-Stahl-Haus before heading southeast on the red-marked AV-Weg 416 trail. You'll start with a gradual ascent along a Latschenkamm (ridge with scrub pines) until you reach a steep section. After crossing rocky Latschengassen, you'll reach the "Blumengarten," a small, karstic plateau above the Teufelsgemäuer. From there, the path leads over two rocky terrain steps in a left curve to the broad ridge of the northwest slope of Schneibstein, eventually reaching the summit at 2,276 meters. At the top, you'll enjoy panoramic views of the Berchtesgaden Alps.
The descent follows a well-known path back to the Schneibsteinhaus and continues down a broad trail to the Königsbachalm. You'll then walk along the Hochbahnweg to reach the Königssee valley.
Best time to visit: Year-round (though it may vary based on weather and snow conditions).
Please ensure you're well-prepared and have the necessary hiking equipment for this journey.
