Pieterpad is the most famous hiking route in the Netherlands that span from the North of Netherlands (Pieterburen) to the south of the Netherlands (Sint Pietersberg).
It consists of 2 stages and 26 etappes in total. This route is the 25th etap that goes from Sittard to Strabeek.
The scenery on the way is mostly beautiful forest, farms and small Dutch towns. And no equipment is required, technically it's just a normal walk.
There are many places to stay on the way and in the relatively bigger cuties around the route. And access to the route by public transportation is quite easy.
