Rappenspitze is a 2.223m high mountain with an iconic summit aka Shark Fin of Karwandel.
The ascent via the north side is easy and famous, this is a harder version and a full S-N traverse of the mountain.
The ridge to Rappenspitze includes some scrambling T4 (I) and sometimes it's also exposed. Descent on the normal hikingtrail is easy. It's not recommended to do the tour the other way round. Not suitable for beginners.
At the peak you have fantastic views to Karwendel, Rofan and Achensee.
