I wanted to visit the St. Beatus-Höhlen for quite some time now - join in doing so finally this Saturday 😀

We'll walk from Interlaken West to the caves and do the guided tour «Short & precise» (1 hour — in English). The tour costs 29.-- CHF, payable in advance via Twint or other means to me (+41797921296). I will remove people that haven't payed by Friday morning.

After the visit to the caves, we'll hike to Thun or even Spiez.

Don't be scared by the picture or timing for the event — that's for the complete "tour". From the caves to Thun, it's about 19km or less than 4 hours. We'll have some stops along the way.

As usual on my hikes, I plan to finish in a restaurant in Spiez. If somebody has some suggestions, please let me know.

Usually, I'd go to a restaurant. Let's see how destroyed we all are, once we arrive at the destination.

· 🏁 Destination: Thun or Spiez
· ⏳ Duration: 6 hours to Thun or 8 hours of hiking to Spiez
· ↔️ Distance: 25 km (Thun) or 38 km (Spiez)
· ⬆️ Ascent: 800 hm (Thun) or 1'000 hm (Spiez)

· Water: something to drink. There are fountains and super markets along the way.
· Picnic: There’ll be a some stops for eating a bit.

From Zürich in the morning

Meeting point: Meet in the train IC 8 leaving from platform 31. I will come from Winterthur and rush to the platform. I'll try to reserve seats. As soon as I know where the seats are, I'll update — this will be on the evening before, after 20:00.

It very much depends on the time we arrive at the destination. PLANNED JOURNEY, with reserved seats. There's a connection every 1 hour.

Tickets

I have to order at least 20 tickets for the tour to the caves. Because of this, I must ask you to Twint/Revolut/Neon/… the entrance fee to me in advance.
