Simetsberg (1.836) is a lonely mountain high above the Walchensee.

It is an all season mountain, trails are easy and not dangerous but with more than 1000 hm elevation gain you should have stamina, especially in winter.

In summer you can swim in Walchensee after the hike

No huts on the way, in summer options in Einsiedel or at the station in Kochel where you have to switch from Train to Bus
