High above the Achensee there is a very attractive via ferrata circuit that leads over 5 peaks in the central Rofan Mountains. A successful mix of steep ferrata passages, separated by beautiful hiking sections on lush mountain meadows, characterizes this 5-peak tour. The advantage is obvious: you can stop the tour at any time and return to the mountain station without any problems. For fit via ferrata hikers, the circuit, which reaches around 800 meters in altitude, can easily be completed in one day - if you have less time, skip the Haidachstellwand and start straight away with the difficult via ferrata up to the Rosskopf. No matter which and how many partial passages you take, an impressive scenic experience is guaranteed.

Five different via ferratas that can be combined as desired: Obholzer Gedenk-Klettersteig (B/C, 120 m, 1 hour), Rosskopf-Klettersteig (C/D, 150 m, 11⁄2 hours), Seekarlspitze-Klettersteig (D, 70 m, 1⁄2 hour), Spieljoch-Klettersteig (C, 85 m, 1⁄2 hour, dangerous when wet!), Hochiss-Klettersteig (C/D, 110 m, 50 mins).
