Hoi hikers! Let's enjoy the good weather and visit the beautiful Fürenalp 🏔️

Route: T3, just don't be too scared of heights, have shoes with good grip. If you don't know what the T-Scale is, read this blog.

Pace: Moderate pace, for which you won't have any problem if you're doing sports regularly. We will have a steep part in the beginning, I will slow down there. 350~400m elevation per hour

Meeting point:  Fürenalpbahn - 09:45

Transportation: Connection arriving from Zürich at 09:40. 

Take IR 75 from Zürich HB to Luzern (07:35-08:25), then IR from Luzern to Engelberg (08:36-09:21), then bus B 300 from Engelberg to Fürenalpbahn (09:27-09:40).

What to bring: Hiking shoes, plenty of water, sunscreen, food and anything else you might need.

Schedule

• 09:45-09:55 Introduction round
• 10:00-12:30 hike 800 elevation meters (3km) to Fürenalp
• 12:30-14:10 flat loop hike at Fürenalp (3.5km) + 40min lunch break
• 14:10-16:00 descend 800m (4.5km) back to start. *option to walk to Engelberg train station (+1h20min)
