Hahlekopf is a 1758m high mountain in Tannheim mountains, which is even though relatively unknown, has nice views in all directions (especially of Gehrenspitze).
Reaching the start point: The best way to reach from Munich is to take a regional trains to Reutte in Tirol (For a group, Werdenfels ticket is the best deal). There is still some walk from the train station to the starting point.
Ascent and Descent: After walking along mountain road for a bit, we take a right turn, and leave the mountain road. This route here is narrow and steep. The last 5-10 meters have a cable as well. This part ends at a Kapelle, from where one can enjoy the nice view of Reutte.
From here, we have two choices: either to follow the mountain road, or take shortcuts through the forest, which were steep. We alternated between the two options. Finally, the route becomes steeper after Sulztaler Huette. Soon afterwards we are above forest line, and on the left we can enjoy the view of Gehrenspitze massif.
From here after some physically challenging (but not technical) traverse, we arrive Schwarzkapelle. From Schawarzkapelle, one can enjoy nice views in all directions, which includes Gehrenspitze, Saeuling, Neuschwanstein castle etc. The peak is on the right from here. One should be careful about attempting the peak in winter as the last part is quite steep.
After coming back from the peak, we continue on the other side of saddle point. Since the peak is not very well known. It is possible that in winter you find no tracks on this part. After a long traversal through forest Musauer alm is reached, from there is wide road, which runs along a stream for most part. Finally the route ends near Frauensee.
