From Ebbs Kaisertal parking lot we follow the signs to Kaisertal.
In 2016 was named one the "most beautiful and untouched places in Austria". On this rather long hike we will explore the valley between Wilder and Zahmer Kaiser in its entirety till we reach Wilder Kaiser, the paradise of climbers. A hike to the Kaisertal is very rewarding. Not by chance the views of Antoniuskapelle and the Hinterkaiser are popular motifs of many famous painters and photographers.
At the beginning you have to overcome 250 steps, which facilitate the ascent via the Sparchner Klamm. Then it goes on uphill to a beautiful vantage point on Kufstein and the whole Inn Valley. Once you have overcome the first steep step on the stairs, you will have a wonderful hike through one of the most beautiful Tyrolean valleys. Further on the path 801 you come to a fork in the road, where you keep right. Soon you reach the Pfandlhof and the Berghof Enzian. At the next fork keep left and reach the Antoniuskapelle and the Hinterkaiserhof. Here you keep right, following the 801, until you reach the road again. Follow this road further into the valley, keep left at the fork and soon reach Anton-Karg-Haus at 829 m. Here we make a first pause enjoying great views of Wilder Kaiser.
We keep going up till we reach the best balcony over Wilder Kaiser, Stripsenjochhaus. Here we reach the highest point of the day. From here on we go down having on our right the most legendary peaks of Wilder Kaiser. A constant companion on the hike are the Ellmauer Tor and the Steinerne Rinne. The imposant towers of rocky mountains like Totenkirchl, Predigtstuhl Totenkirchl, Fleischbank and Lärcheck rise from south to east like a symphony turned to stone. dominating over the all Kaiserbachtal valley. We finally reach Griesener Alm where we eat and drink together to end in best way the day!
