it. However, this is rather challenging to plan because of the sparse 
public transport connections. Therefore, we recommend planning the route
 either from the sunny mountain village of Siat or from the chapel Sogn 
Francestg on the road to Pigniu.</p>
<p>You continuously climb over alpine meadows. It never gets boring, 
though, as the regular steeper slopes constantly require good route 
planning and keep your mind alert. The view becomes more and more 
magnificent the higher you get. Brown burnt barns with their warm wooden
 facades regularly invite you to take a break.</p>
<p>We end the route description here at P.2322. But you could continue 
along the Fil da Rueun depending on avalanche danger, weather 
development, and condition.</p></div>

abandoned at any time. Many turn around in the area of Alp da Rueun. 
Thus, the route can be individually adapted.</p>
<p>Those who prefer a point-to-point route can implement this perfectly.
 Due to the sparser postbus connection to Pigniu, we recommend doing the
 route rather from Sogn Francestg to Siat.</p>
<p>Stopping at the <a href="https://www.surselva.info/Media/Gastronomie/Restaurant-Siat-Ustria-Steila#/article/ccd0cbac-943b-4a15-8766-e7d90dc8fe8c"> Ustria Steila</a> in Siat is a good conclusion to the route.</p></div><p><br></p><hr><p><span style="font-weight: bold;">Note</span>: the time information on Hiking Buddies is off. By car: Navigate using Google maps

This is an A => B route. Almost impossible to get back to the car in Rueun until the next day. Might want to find a parking spot somewhere else.

By public transport:

Bus stop at start point: Rueun, S. Francestg

In January 2026, there are only 3 (three) busses per day going there. Only one arrives there at a "useful" time, at 08:47.

Bus stop at end point: Siat, vitg

Busses leave every 2 hours, until at about 20:00.
