This is a copy of "Fil da Rueun" from Surselva Tourismus on Outdooractive. Might want to check out there as well for more/other information.

This extensive snowshoe route can be undertaken from Siat or from Sogn Francestg. The terrain is perfectly suited for snowshoe hikes and promises a great alpine experience.

You could make a circular route out of it. However, this is rather challenging to plan because of the sparse public transport connections. Therefore, we recommend planning the route either from the sunny mountain village of Siat or from the chapel Sogn Francestg on the road to Pigniu.

You continuously climb over alpine meadows. It never gets boring, though, as the regular steeper slopes constantly require good route planning and keep your mind alert. The view becomes more and more magnificent the higher you get. Brown burnt barns with their warm wooden facades regularly invite you to take a break.

We end the route description here at P.2322. But you could continue along the Fil da Rueun depending on avalanche danger, weather development, and condition.

Surselva Tourism's recommendation

The route can be abandoned at any time. Many turn around in the area of Alp da Rueun. Thus, the route can be individually adapted.

Those who prefer a point-to-point route can implement this perfectly. Due to the sparser postbus connection to Pigniu, we recommend doing the route rather from Sogn Francestg to Siat.

Stopping at the Ustria Steila in Siat is a good conclusion to the route.

Note: the time information on Hiking Buddies is off. Probably not taking snowshoeing into account.
