Leonhardstein 1.449m also called "The Bavarian Matterhorn" is an iconic peak near Kreuth. The route is short but challanging and includes some scrambling, also suitable for kids 6+ with a bit experience. Also a good choice for an afterwork hike. No hut on the way but many options in Kreuth.
