This is a very nice via ferrata with great views. Although it is technically not difficult it can be very challenging especially in hot weather. There is even at least one case of death from the heat. Since there are not so many shadows you are almost always exposed to the sun and it also has to be considered that since this via ferrata has 1200hm, you will be staying a long time on it (ca 4-8h depending on your fitness). However having enaugh water with you (I would take even more than 5l for myself to be on the safe side) and proper gear there is nothing more to be concerned about. You will enjoy this one ;)
The hut on the top can be reached by the car, so it is even possible to call the taxi from up there, the number is written on the hut. But I would tske the way down even in the hot weather. You would need 3-4 hours and the most part of the route goes through forest, meaning it won't be so hot as on the way up any more. The hut on the top might be closed, but on the way down when you reach the road (waypoint #3 or 11th km) you might be able to buy some cold drinks in a mobile kiosk. Afterwards ca 2 km later you will walk almost along the river and will the possibily to refressh yourself in a cold water.
Parking: we have parked at the starting position of this route. It was a parking lot of some groccery store.
Topo can be found here, but for this type of routes it is advisable to make some research on your own, like read descriptions and maybe watch some videos.
