Wendelstein (1,838 m) is one of most popular peaks in Bavarian Prealps, thanks to the cable car and cogwheel train. Because of its exposed position it offers a very good view into the Bavarian Alpine foothills and can be seen the other way round in a wide radius.

The route is technically easy (mostly T2) and very well marked. However, you need to be very fit to be able to do this route because of the length.
