Route Information
Wendelstein (1,838 m) is one of most popular peaks in Bavarian Prealps, thanks to the cable car and cogwheel train. Because of its exposed position it offers a very good view into the Bavarian Alpine foothills and can be seen the other way round in a wide radius.
The route is very long and requires very good fitness. However, most of the route is technically easy.
