What a wonderful buddy! We both turned back at some point because the deep snow was proving too much (I think she turned back more because she didn't want to let me go back alone). The decision proved to be the best, we had a nice break in the sun and then a good (but still demanding) hike back, we hitched a hike with a snow plow :-D And charmed the bus driver to wait for the rest of the group! <3
