Description
Hohe Kisten
The Hohe Kisten (1922m, also called Hohe Kiste) is a striking mountain (looks like a box from the valley) near Eschenlohe.
The view from the summit, especially of Krottenkopf and Walchensee with all the usual suspects of the Alpine foothills and far beyond, is sensational. In addition, there is rarely much going on here. Great tour within sight of the flatlands, only 75km from Munich!
You should bring:
⁃ Gaiters
⁃ Winter gloves
⁃ Hiking poles
⁃ enough provisions & water
⁃ Cash

There won't be a specific pace, but it's winter, so when the lights go out, put on your headlamp.
