  • Mons Styriacus Altissimus 

    Crossing the highest free­standing mountain in Europe, the Grimming (2351m).


    Type:
    long mountain tour with great height difference

    Elevation gain: Approx. 1800 m

    Fitness level: High

    Technique: Moderate, narrow trails, sure-footedness required

    Equipment: Hiking gear, plenty of water!

      • Wolfgangsee
      • Hallstätter See
      • Ödensee

    Day 2: Hiking

    • Grimming via the southeast ridge
    • via Multereck back to Niederstuttern

    Starting Point: Niederstuttern, Austria

    Note: Please contact me before joining. The event may be postponed at short notice due to bad weather.

    Everyone is responsible for booking a place to sleep in the hut.
