Description

Plan to buy group ticket at 8:50, if you arrive later you migth need to buy your own ticket.

9:04 - 10:06 train to Fischausen-neuhaus
10:10 - 10:23 bus till spitzingsee

From Spitzingsee to Rotwandhaus following forest road, not technical, gradual long ascend, migth be icy, and with snow, therefore gaiters and spikes migth be needed. Waterproof hiking boots are a must to keep your feet dry and warm. 

From the Hütte until the peak, the slope becomes a bit more challenging, depending on snow condition. One can also wait and relax at the Hütte, while the rest go to the peak. 

We will spend some time at the Hütte to recover energy, drink, eat, enjoy the company and views (if weather allows).

Initial plan is to go back the same way, but we can extend the hike depending on time, weather, snow condition, and group mood.

Buses back: 15:38, 15:58, 16:28, 16:55, 17:28 (last bus).

Food/drinks for the way
Warm clothes
Gaiters (required)
Spikes (highly recommended)
Snowshoes (optional)
Headlight (just in case)
Some tolerance for snowy and rainy weather

Note: Please unjoin the event well in advance, if you don't plan to come. You cannot unjoin the event, when it is starting in less than 12 hours.
