Hey buddies :)


Until now Saturday’s forecast looks great with sun and clouds, a perfect winter hike weather.

It would be a moderate hike and the plan goes like this:


>> We meet and Buy ticket* MUC Hbf 7.55,  *But unfortunately, if you are too late you need to buy your ticket so kindly be punctual!

>> A bit of Meet and Greet :)

>> Reaching :  ~9.00 Schliersee. and then BUS 9562 to Spitzingsee Kirche., The Hiking Starting Point 

>> Starting Hike: 10.00

>> 1 or 2 small breaks If needed Before 30min Lunch break in between

>> ending of Hike: ~ 16.00 and BUS 16.00 / 16.30 We will be back in Munich by 18.00



Things to Bring: -

  • A Happy Face :)
  • Hiking shoes (waterproof or snowshoes)
  • Trekking/hiking poles.
  • Crampons and Gaiters 
  • Gloves and Warm cloths
  • Food and water (2-3 litres) as Not sure about Huts 
  • Downloaded GPX map
  • Cash/Paypal for the ticket

Optional:

  • Headlamp.
  • Rain jacket.
  • Sunglasses/protection glasses(transparent).


Rotwand 1.884m is one of the most popular summits of the Bavarian Prealps.
Being the highest mountain of its small group of mountains, Rotwand is famous for its wonderful views.

The lakes (Schliersee, Spitzingsee) may be hidden from view but to the south Wilder Kaiser, Mangfallgebirge, Rofangebirge and Karwendel serve as a nice backdrop to the summit pre-alpine summits up front.

Each participant is responsible for her-/ himself and has to be prepared, bring suitable equipment, and check if he meets the physical requirements. Hello there, looking forward to the hike! I live very close to Harras, so I would enter the train there. I'm happy to transfer the money for the group ticket upfront, so that you can be sure I'll be there if that makes sense?

Hey all :) We will meet at 7.45 near platform 33, please plan accordingly to reach intime and I would max wait until 7.55 for the final ticket if needed. As per I'm informed :Katharina and Shiri will join us from Haras and rest 13of us we will be boarding from MUC Hbf if no last minute changes 🤞.
