This will be Jans` (8.5 yrs old ) first hike of 2019 and he would be more than happy if other Kids ( plus parent(s) were to join . The plan is open to Change depending on how Jan is Coping and snow conditions - it is possible that we could also go across to Taubenstein or go back down to Gaitau which would make the way down quite a bit longer . Whichever way we go though , the Kid(s) have the last say , and the Default plan would be to go back down the same way that we went up .
As the hike is in itself not that challenging and Little People will be there , we can have a later start than usual - Meeting on platform 2 Donnersbergerbrucke at 08:55 . The Train leaves at 09:08 so please do not be late .
Although in the first instance this hike is organised with Kids in mind , IF adults without Children would like to join , it would also be ok . However they should be Aware that my priority would be with Jan , and I would not have time to take care of inexperianced hikers , and everyone should be capable of Looking after themselves on a mountain and be Aware of the dangers involved . It should be mentioned that Jan does have mountain experiance and is a fairly fast hiker ( when he is in the mood ) . Kids also have more Energy that adults ...
We will have a break in the Rotwandhaus . I can not say what time we will return to Munich . If you Need to be back early or are Looking for a fast hike , then do not join .
Hiking - even on a relatively easy route can be dangerous . Accidents resulting in serious injury can happen at any time . Call out Costs of the mountain Rescue can be very high . Membership of the DAV is highly recommended.
I am not a profesional mountain guide . Everyone is responsible for themselves .
