Description
The classic among the via ferratas in Bavaria - an easy one, but should not be underestimated.
On this scenically unique tour, you have a fantastic view of the surrounding alpine mountain range and of course of Garmisch-Partenkirchen.
Via ferrata combines the Alpspitz-Ferrata with the Ostgrat and the Nordwandsteig.
Ascent with the Alpsitzbahn cable car, at the top you can watch paragliders from the Alpspitze restaurant, on to the Alpspix viewing platform, then to the Osterfelderkopf (2060m), entry into the Alpspitz Ferrata to the Alpspitze summit (2628m), descent via the Nordwandsteig or optionally to the mountain lake Stuibensee and back via the Nordwandsteig back to the Alpspitzbahn, lunch.
Good to know
