Description
It's not for nothing that the Wank is called the sunny balcony of Garmisch-Partenkirchen. During the climb over the sun-drenched southwest flank, your eyes constantly wander over the Wetterstein stars Alpspitze and Zugspitze.
Good to know
It might get rainy so be sure to pack a rain jacket and decent hiking shoes.
There might be also a bit of snow, so bring a soft-shell or hardshell jacket with you.
We start from the gas station at exactly 7 a.m. Since the hike with lunch takes about 7 hours, we should be back in Munich around 6 p.m.
If you don't show up, I will comment accordingly.
