Matterhorn Glacier Paradise


June 21, 2024 - June 24, 2024, Friday to Monday.


Enjoy an unforgettable view. Breathe in the purest mountain air from the glacier. Feel the winter chill in your face. At an altitude of 3883 metres, the Klein Matterhorn really does stimulate the senses in this Alpine wonderland, aptly named the Matterhorn Glacier Paradise. This is the peak on which the highest mountain station in Europe is located. Surrounded by 38 four-thousanders and 14 glaciers in three countries, the Klein Matterhorn holds all in its sway.

Good to know

Arrival takes place by car. Depending on the number of participants, costs such as parking fees, fuel and vignettes must be divided. For 4 people: €60.30/person.


Everyone makes their own hotel bookings.


Cable car tickets can be purchased on site. Peak2Peak Pass: 150 CHF.

Zermatt shuttle (single): 8.60 CHF.

Sunnegga cable car: 15.50 CHF.

Kickbike rental: 18 CHF.


For the Breithorn ascent, winter-proof clothing with crampons is required (only optional).

For the hike on Sunday, hiking sticks, hiking boots and perhaps a rain jacket are sufficient.


Friday: Arrival from 6 a.m. in Munich to Täsch (Zermatt is car-free)

Saturday: Breithorn ascent. Ride to Riffelberg and short hike to Riffelalp. 

Sunday: Hike from Randa

Monday: Sunegga Paradise, 5-Lakes-Hike & Kickbike Fun.Departure back to Munich after 2 p.m.
