The Risserkogel is 1826 m above sea level. NHN high mountain in the Bavarian Prealps south of Lake Tegernsee and is therefore one of the highest peaks in the Tegernsee Mountains, which belong to the Mangfall Mountains. Due to its isolated location, the summit cross offers a comprehensive panorama that, on clear days, extends to the Kaisergebirge in the east, to the Großglockner and Großvenediger in the south, to the Zugspitze in the west and to Munich in the north.
Optionally and only for people with surefootedness, the Blankenstein can also be climbed.
On the way back a visit to the Schwaigeralm is planned.
