Description
DONNERKOGEL + LASERER ALPINE Via-Ferrata
Who wants to experience the classic on the west side of the Dachstein? The highlight is a 40-meter giant ladder on which you cross a deep gorge. In four very different stages, you climb the Grosser Donnerkogel on the Intersport via ferrata. Overall, you have an appealing - and, if you use the giant ladder, extremely exposed - via ferrata adventure with a fantastic view of the Dachstein.
Addition to the difficulty:
Two passages C/D - at the "Kaiserschneidung" and at the Donnermandl. Places C and B/C, but otherwise mostly around B.
On the same day, we tackle the Laserer Alpin via ferrata. The Laserer alpine via ferrata runs directly above the water of the Vorderer Gosausee. It is a well-secured pleasure via ferrata with 420 meters of climbing. The tour is very impressive in terms of scenery thanks to the constant view of the Dachstein and the proximity to the lake.
Addition to the difficulty:
Persistently B to C, hardly easier.
Good to know
It is a 2-day trip. Overnight stay at the Gablonzer Hütte from Friday to Saturday. Everyone is responsible for their own reservations.
On Saturday after the via ferratas, a visit to the Gosaussee is planned, where we will end the day.
The number of participants is limited to 4 due to the free car seats. If I should increase the number of participants, please add a car to the carpool.
Initial climbing experience is an advantage. Complete via ferrata equipment is a must.
You should bring:
• Hut sleeping bag
• Hut shoes
• Via ferrata set
• Swimwear
• DAV ID (if you have one)
Departure on Friday at 2 p.m. from Munich. Meeting point will be announced in the WhatsApp group. I will provide a link to this during the week.
On Saturday we start straight after breakfast to avoid the crowds.
A vignette is required. Cost: €2.88 per person. Gossaukammbahn parking fee: €0.00.
